Activity

We need to force some activity to keep the forum alive. Seriously, the last post was on august 9th - 6 days ago. It would be a big shame for LPAU to disappear. Weren't we talking about a revival before?

First of all, I'm not going to close the forum. As I said before, it's really hard to get activity now that the main site has shut down.

It's not hard, I still maintain things need to be done though. I am pretty sure I have made myself clear with ideas to refurbish this forum so that it becomes somewhat similar to the main site. I see no evidence of any acting upon that.

I've been told that as the most subscribed member I should post a video to help the forum gain exposure. I'm okay with this, so long as Mariomaster does his part and gives us a darn Let's Players profile board or whatever to post our videos in. If this is "Let's Plays are Us" we should have more then just 1 Let's Play DISCUSSION board.

Well, I don't want to be clogging up a discussion board for every single individual Let's Player there is. Maybe if someone is willing to make a site for it, I would gladly make it the main site, however, I can't do it, because I don't have any experience in that department.

We really wouldn't need a discussion board for each LPer, just a topic, inside of one discussion board, and not for EVERY LPer out there, just the ones registered on the forums.

That's what I mean't. We need a board where LPers can post their profiles, links to their vids, a featured video or playlist, etc. Right now 90% of the forum is totally irrelevant to LPs and the one board that is on topic is just a general discussion on the subject of LPs.

I am more or less content. But why not exercise the sub-board function? I am kinda saying this because a topic alone is a bit small, but part of me just doesn't get why the forum doesn't have any sub-boards. Sub-boards make everything more organized. And then everyone gets a topic in the board.

I don't really want to put sub-forums up, this is good enough, just leave it at that.
