Re: Gay marriage/Equal rights
Well if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, then it should be with someone that you love. I'll get married to someone that I love and that loves me back.MrSethGodSOURCE wrote:In a way though, marriage has nothing to do with loving someone. Though it has been commercialized as such in modern ages, marriage has always been a religious thing, and for the longest time had nothing to do with love ether. Also, to the best of my knowledge most of the religions that popularized marriage originally opposed Homosexuality for whatever biased reason. I do think homosexuals should not be prosecuted and should not be shunned from society, especially in this modern age where people are realizing flaws in traditional beliefs, but honestly I think it's the belief that you need to get "married" to be in love that causes all the issues here.

Wow. There is so few ways that you can rationalise that, it's not even funny. I'd love to see your time machine, seeing as you have the internet but are still living in the Victorian era. Bravo sir, bravo. I take my top hat off to you sir. Perhaps I may one day take my penny-farthing over to your house, so we may have some tea and scones with the local vicar and talk about the fear of god and that dreadful new novel called Dracula, and the sin that has come out of the recent book "A Room with a View". We can go over current affairs like the freedom of slaves, colonialism and the effects of the Crimean war. Because that's what Victorians do.

Victorian Era or not, I still think it's a bit immoral. I don't see it anywhere near me, little pecks on the lips but no full blown make outs.

What is it about it? A display of affection is surely a good thing.
Re: Gay marriage/Equal rights
An illicit sexual display is a good thing. Now I see where the world has gone. Well doesn't matter, sexuality and romance have been skewed since the beginning.

Excuse me, but scince when does sex come from a simple kiss?

Your explaination to this is so deep, I must admit.TatteredTime wrote:I say no but that's just my opinion.
As for me: yes, plain and simple. I don't see how people should have the right to treat someone who is different to them with an un-equal stature, it's happened before and it was resolved, as will un-equality with homosexuals.

Any form of affection originated from sex. Believe it or not people were having sex before they knew what Kissing or Hugging was.
